Hiromi Takeshewada was a female human in Starfleet in the 23rd century.
She lived her early years in Tokyo, Japan, and moved throughout her youth to cities all over the Sol System.
She joined Starfleet, and as an ensign was assigned to the USS Mandela. Following that assignment, she was promoted to lieutenant and transfered to the USS Potemkin, only one month before the destruction of the Mandela.
By 2263, she had reached the rank of commander, and served as executive officer aboard the USS Constellation under Commodore Matthew Decker. (VAN novel: Harbinger, TOS - The Brave and the Bold novella: The First Artifact)
- Takeshewada presumably perished with the rest of the Constellation crew in 2267 during the encounter with an ancient "planet killer" depicted in TOS episode: "The Doomsday Machine".
