Hollandaise sauce

Hollandaise sauce originated from the European nation-state of Holland, existing since at least the 15th century. Tom Paris would often request Hollandaise sauce to flavor his dishes. Hollandaise was made from boiled water, sautéed butter, wine, red chili pepper powder, chopped wild onion, lemon juice and egg yolks. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)
