Corporal Hossad Mottaki was a human male who served as a MACO crewman in the 22nd century. By 2156, he served aboard the Columbia (NX-02), and was present with the vessel was attacked by the Romulans, crippling the ship and forcing it to make a relativist travel to the planet later known to be Erigol.

When fellow MACO personnel on the away team to Erigol rebelled against the Caeliar attempting to find a way back to Earth, Mottaki and Private Ndufe Otumbo met Major Stephen Foyle and Private Vincenzo Yacavino in the transporter room and escorted their prisoner Arithon to the ship's Brig. Mottaki, along with the rest of the personnel aboard the Columbia, perished from hyperphasic radiation when the vessel entered a subspace tunnel. (ST - Destiny novel: Gods of Night)
