Dennas (2256)
D'Ghor (2371)

The House of D'Ghor was a Klingon Great House. (DS9 episode: "The House of Quark")

History[]

In the 23rd century, the House of D'Ghor was one of the twenty-four Great Houses in existence at the time. Dennas of the House of D'Ghor supported T'Kuvma's plan to unite their people. (DSC episodes: "Battle at the Binary Stars", "Lethe")

During the Federation-Klingon War of 2256-2257, Admiral Katrina Cornwell confronted Klingon prisoner L'Rell about the lack of unification among the 24 Klingon houses, citing the forces of House D'Ghor as an example. After taking over Starbase 1 in the Sol system, the House's logo was painted onto the hull of the space station instead of the Klingon Empire's, thus proving T'Kuvma's dream of Klingon unification was not materializing. (DSC episode: "The War Without, The War Within")

In 2371, D'Ghor attempted to persuade the Klingon High Council to allow his house to absorb the House of Kozak after Kozak died on Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "The House of Quark")

In 2373, the House of D'Ghor supplied weapons and technology to the Tzenkethi, the Reletek, Nachri insurgents, warlords in the Alrakis system. (DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "... Loved I Not Honor More")
