Worf, son of Mogh, last leader of the House of Mogh

The House of Mogh was one of the Great Houses of the Klingon Empire in the 23rd and 24th centuries. The House was last led by Worf, son of Mogh.

History[]

In 2257, a female represented the House on the Klingon High Council, and was present at the session where L'Rell and Ash Tyler presented plans for a new D7 class battlecruiser to the council. (DSC episode: "Point of Light")

The House was disbanded and had its lands seized in 2372 when Worf opposed Chancellor Gowron's invasion of the Cardassian Union. (DS9 episodes: "The Way of the Warrior", "Sons of Mogh", "Rules of Engagement", "Soldiers of the Empire")

Several Klingons who supported the House of Mogh were exiled. (DS9 - Day of Honor novel: Armageddon Sky)

Some members of the House of Mogh, including Worf and Jeremy Aster, joined the House of Martok. (TNG novel: Genesis Force)

Following the liberation of Martok from a House of Torg prison in the Briar Patch[1], Chancellor J'mpok restored honor to the House of Mogh. While Worf remained gIn'tak to House Martok, "Rodek, son of Noggra" was restored to Kurn, son of Mogh, and retained his rank of general in the Klingon Defense Force. (STO - Gamma Quadrant mission: "Storm Clouds Gather")

Mirror universe[]

In the mirror universe, it was known as the House of Worf. In 2372, it was led by Worf, the Regent of the Klingon Empire. (KE - Mirror Universe short story: "Family Matters")
