How to Advance Your Career Through Marriage was a book published sometime prior to the late 2340s. Jack Crusher gave a copy of this book to Beverly Howard as a humorous way of proposing to her. Following Jack's death, Beverly stored the book in a trunk along with a number of his other personal belongings on Earth. She retrieved it while the USS Enterprise-D was at Earth in 2367.
