The IKS K'mpec was a Qang-class Klingon heavy cruiser starship in Imperial Defense Force service in the 24th century, named for the late chancellor, K'mpec.

The K'mpec was was active in the year 2376, just after the end of the Dominion War. (Gorkon novel: Enemy Territory)

The K'mpec was initially established in the Klingon Glossary of Diplomatic Implausibility, though not in the text of the novel. It had apparently just entered service by 2376, as in 2374 there was an IKS K'mpec of the Negh'Var-class active.
