The IKS Melikaphkaz was a D7-class Klingon battle cruiser starship, specifically of the K't'inga-class, in Imperial Defense Force service in the late 23rd century.

Melikaphkaz was one of six Klingon starships to participate in the 2270s Battle of Artaleirh, when it and brother vessels Tevekh, Kartadza, Zajikh, Pefak and one other engaged USS Enterprise and a group of Romulan separatists and Romulan Star Empire supporters alike in the Artaleirh star system. Melikaphkaz was the only Klingon vessel to survive the encounter. (TOS novel: The Empty Chair)
