The IKV Amar was a D7-class Klingon battle cruiser starship, specifically of the K't'inga-class, in Imperial Defense Force service in the late 24th century. (TNG video game: Starfleet Command III)

This ship's name and its prefix were part of the list of names the game software assigned to K't'inga vessels appearing therein. The reference to this vessel seems to indicate it is a successor to the original IKS Amar, which was destroyed in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
