The IKV Quv was a Klingon D7-class battlecruiser in service to the Klingon Defense Force in the mid-23rd century. The Quv was under the command of Captain B'vat, leader of the House of B'vat. The ship was involved in several engagements that helped shape the relationship between the Klingon Empire and the Federation in 2265 and beyond. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Night of the Comet")

History[]

In the year 2265, the Quv led a fleet of D7-class battlecruisers to the Federation starbase Drozana Station while the station was under siege from the Devidians. An Allied starship from the year 2409 traveled back in time to combat the Devidians. Captain B'vat ordered his ships to engage the Allied vessel, which was disguised as a Klingon D7-class battlecruiser of the House of Duras. In order to protect the timeline, the Allied vessel had to destroy Driffen's Comet without destroying the Quv. With most of his ships disabled by the future starship, B'vat sent the Quv on a suicide run, which the Allied vessel evaded.

With the destruction of Driffen's Comet, the Allied starship returned to the future, and the Quv was able resume its role in history. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Night of the Comet")
