The ChR Remus was a Romulan starship in service in the 23rd century.
In 2267, the Remus's commanding officer, Commander S'Tor, disappeared in mysterious circumstances. As the vessel was at that point under-crewed, no competent officers could take his place, leading the Praetor to appoint Pompe as the Remus's new commander. (TOS novel: Web of the Romulans)
