The IRW Antares was a Romulan starship, a Raptor-class heavy battle cruiser of the Star Empire's Star Navy in the 24th century. The Antares was in active service around the year 2378, and had achieved renown for aiding in the defeat and salvage of a Borg scout in the Relik sector, averting a Borg incursion and giving the Empire an insight into numerous forms of technology. Described as a footnote in the game documentation, this ship bore the registry prefix "IRW", indicating a warbird, which is the only occurrence of a ship of this class being referred to by that terminology.
