IRW D'merak

The IRW D'merak (IRC-1979) was a Romulan D'deridex-class battle cruiser in service to the Romulan Star Empire's Star Navy in the late 24th century. In 2371, the Tal Shiar assumed responsibility over the D'merak for a planned offensive into the Gamma Quadrant.

The D'merak, with other D'deridex-class warbirds, was modified by the Tal Shiar in orbit of Orias III. These ships were refitted with improved cloaking devices. (CCG reference: The Dominion, CCG reference: Second Edition)

Later that year, the D'merak participated in the failed Obsidian Order-Tal Shiar attack against the Founders' homeworld in the Omarion Nebula. Officially declared missing, the D'merak is presumed destroyed. (ST roleplay module: Starships)
