The IRW Valdore was a Romulan Mogai-class warbird starship of the Star Empire's Star Navy in the 24th century, under the command of Commander Donatra. The Valdore was Donatra's base of operations in the 2379 Battle of Bassen Rift, where her small task force joined with the Enterprise-E to stop the mad Shinzon of Remus from attacking the Federation capital planet, Earth. The Valdore later served in the battle with Reman forces in orbit of Romulus just prior to the treaty establishing Remus as a protectorate of the Klingon Empire, and was transported to the Small Magellenic Cloud while investigating the disappearance of a Romulan fleet loyal to Donatra. The Valdore later made it safely back to the Milky Way Galaxy. (TTN novels: Taking Wing, The Red King)
The Valdore was amongst those ships loyal to Donatra that assumed control of Archernar Prime in 2380; it became the flagship of the Imperial Romulan State after Donatra declared its existence in December of that year. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
