The Iconian software weapon is a deadly example of the mastery of computer technology that the ancient Iconian civilization possessed. These 'weapons' were equipped on their worlds and would fire a burst into an enemy ship. After which, the software weapon would begin to infect the computer system of the enemy vessel causing random hazards which result in a self destruct being initiated by the enemy ship.
