Early in Tarn's career, Elim Garak attended a concert that she performed at. Garak thought she was "astonishing".
In 2373, Tarn gave a performance on Earth as part of a cultural exchange. She played several Cardassian compositions, as well as Beethoven sonatas that were arranged for the trikolat. Tomas Roeder was one of the attendees and found her "magnificent".
Also in 2373, Tarn was granted a full license by the Cardassian Institute of Art, a rare event for the highly government-controlled arts on Cardassia.
