Illumination of The Prodigal

The "Illumination of The Prodigal" in 2370

"The Illumination of The Prodigal" was an event named for a figure in Bajoran religion.

The event applied to the outermost moon of Bajor, Baraddo, which had an elliptical orbit, bringing it within view of Bajor every five years. At this time, as it passed the Bajoran wormhole, the chemical composition of the moon caused it to glow, illuminating the moon. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
