Flint (under his Emil Vaslovik identity) accompanies Ira Graves and Noonien Soong on an expedition to the planet Exo III in order to learn more of the rumored technology that produced artificial life. However, their trip woke a large number of androids that had been in stasis and sought to kill the trio of trespassers.
