The Imperial Ground Forces was a military branch of the Romulan Star Empire that was charged with the army's ground operations.

During the Romulan Civil War, the Imperial Ground Forces were deployed to fight against the Free Rihannsu at ch'Rihan. Though they were willing to fight alien invaders and traitors, they found themselves incapable of slaying their kinsmen. (TOS novel: The Empty Chair)
