In 2372, an infernite and cabrodine explosive detonated on Cort's shuttle as it was leaving Bajor with himself, Quark, Rom, Tarken, Karg, Borit, Lenk, Kreln and Prana aboard. Cort may have planted the substances himself. (DS9 novel: The 34th Rule)
