Inge Eiger was a female human engineer in Starfleet in the 24th century. As of 2372 she held the rank of ensign, and was assigned to the USS Enterprise-E under chief engineer Geordi La Forge. (TNG eBook: Slings and Arrows: The Insolence of Office) She was one of the first Enterprise crewmembers to be assimilated when the Borg infiltrated the ship in 2373. (TNG movie: Star Trek: First Contact)
