Intendant is a title, a position of high authority in the 24th century mirror universe, as administrated by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance.

History and specifics[]

In the Bajor system and other subjugated territories, intendant was somewhat equivalent to the Cardassian title of prefect in the primary universe. Kira Nerys was Intendant of Bajor and Terok Nor, while B'Elanna was Intendant of the Sol system. (DS9 episode: "Crossover", ST novel: Dark Passions)

Spock was Intendant of the Vulcan Resistance, a role which caused him so much strain he was said to have aged more than most humans. (TOS novel: Spectre)
