Invernia II (also known as Invaria II) is an inhabited planet, homeworld of the Invernian civilization, located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrants as the second planet in the Invernia star system.

Invernia III is home to a distinct species of crustacean. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)

In the late 2350s, Richard Bashir was working as Federation diplomat on the planet. Bashir and his son Julian Bashir once travelled to a remote area of the planet. During their trip, a massive ionic storm hit the planet. When they sought shelter, they found a sick Invernian girl. Richard Bashir went for help when the storm subsided, although the girl died, with Julian Bashir beside her, before a doctor could be found. A guide revealed that they could have saved her with a herb that grew nearby. The incident eventually led Bashir to study medicine. (DS9 episode: "Melora"; DS9 novel: Warchild, DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)

The planet was called Invaria II in Warchild.
