In an alternate timeline accidentally created by Leonard McCoy saving Edith Keeler's life in March 1930, Ireland was conquered by Nazi Germany prior to 1944. Before its conquest, it was bombarded by German V-2 rockets for months.
On May 11, 1946, Phil Dickinson was killed in action in Ireland. His widow Lynn Dickinson found little comfort in the fact that his death at the Battle of Portmagee had helped to liberate the country from the Nazis.
