Doctor Ismail Asenzi was a Starfleet officer who served as assistant chief medical officer aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. When Lieutenant Torres was frozen by Q when he boarded the Enterprise, Asenzi and a medical team were called to the bridge to treat him. He also gave a tour of sickbay to Beverly Crusher when she came aboard at Farpoint Station. He organized a staff meeting at the request of Beverly Crusher for the sickbay staff.
