Itamish III is the third planet of the Itamish system.

Prior to 2367, Benjamin Sisko, Jennifer Sisko and Jake Sisko took a camping trip to Itamish III, where Jennifer taught Jake how to waterski. (DS9 episode: "The Jem'Hadar")

In 2376, the crew of the USS Enterprise-E were to assist Dolores Linton and her team in a geological survey of Itamish III to ascertain if it was suitable to support a mining colony. Their attempts were delayed due to the threat of the Genesis Wave. (TNG novel: The Genesis Wave, Book 1)

The geological survey of Itamish III was ultimately not carried out and Linton's team left the Enterprise several weeks later. (TNG novel: The Genesis Wave, Book 2)
