Lieutenant J'lenn was a female Alpha Centauran who served as a communications specialist for Starfleet in the 23rd century.
In the late 2250s, J'lenn served as communications officer aboard the frigate, USS Chandley, and served aboard the vessel for many border patrols along the Romulan Neutral Zone.
In 2264, J'lenn was assigned to join Lieutenant Commander Montgomery Scott and the crew of the USS Lovell to help repair Outpost 5, after a destructive ion storm. She was killed by an accidental detonation of reactor coolant. (SCE eBook: Foundations, Book One)
