Jai was a male Bolian who served as an assistant to Federation Councillor Nea. In 2381, Jai contacted Zachary Manzanillo about Bolarus's need for an upgrade to their transporter network. Jai resisted the idea of talking to Deputy Chiefs of Staff Ashanté Phiri or Myk Bunkrep, and made a vague threat about Bolarus pulling out of the Federation if they did not get attention from Manzanillo's boss, Esperanza Piñiero.
