Jarka was a Starfleet ensign who served as an engineer aboard the USS Enterprise-E in the early 2370s.

In 2372, Jarka contacted Geordi La Forge and informed him that the Changeling infiltrator loose aboard the Enterprise had damaged the shield power relays by spraying them with a form of acid. (TNG eBook: A Sea of Troubles)
