Jaron was a 24th century Evoran individual, the first member of that civilization to serve in Starfleet.

As of 2380, Jaron held the rank of ensign, and was assigned to Outpost 22. In March of that year, Jaron was killed in a suicide attack on the outpost by a group of Remans who had been loyal to Shinzon. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
