The Jenkth are an armored humanoid species.

They are bipedal, have four digits on their hands, and a armored back and face. They have multiple rows of teeth, a long tongue, and horns along the side of their head.

Jenkth saliva has various unique enzymes, and can be processed to create "Jex" - an intelligence boosting chemical. In the mid-2370s, the Jenkth ran a crime ring that reached to Starfleet Academy based on selling Jex to eager cadets. Sssthss, a Jenkth, was arrested by Starfleet Security in relation to the crime ring in 2372. (SA comic: Prime Directives)
