Ensign Jenny De Luz was a crewmember of USS Enterprise-D as a security officer, she was from the planet Meramer a Federation Colony. She was born circa 2339 she was tall and lean with a pale complexion and bright red hair. She was very like Tasha Yar, Worf recommended for her to supervise all planetary security on Tenera. While on Tenera she helped bury Tenerans that will were killed by the M'Dok. She grew close to one of the Magna Romans on the USS Centurion where she decided she would like a transfer to the Centurion. After her conversation with Deanna Troi she decides to stay on the Enterprise. The only keepsake she brought from home aboard was a painting called Servado's Agony She also gives Worf a visit to her home planet on the Holodeck. (TNG novel: The Captains' Honor)
