Lieutenant Jerry Freeman was a Starfleet crewperson serving aboard the USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk, in a variety of roles including security and xenobiology.
In 2267, Freeman was one of the Enterprise crewmen involved in a barroom brawl on Deep Space Station K-7 with the Klingon crew of the IKS Gr'oth, and reprimanded by Captain Kirk. (TOS episode: "The Trouble with Tribbles")
- In an alternate timeline, Chief Miles O'Brien, accidentally transported to 2267, was reprimanded in Freeman's place. (DS9 episode: "Trials and Tribble-ations")
The following year, Freeman found himself under the control of the Gorgan, and attempted to arrest Captain Kirk and Commander Spock. (TOS episode: "And the Children Shall Lead")
When the Enterprise staged a raid against a Romulan space station in orbit of Levaeri V in 2275, Jerry Freeman was one of the hundred-odd crewpeople chosen to participate. (TOS novel: My Enemy, My Ally)
