Jim Jansen is an actor who played and voiced several Star Trek characters.
He guest starred twice in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as Faren Kag in "The Storyteller" and as Gariff Lucsly in "Trials and Tribble-ations". He also voiced several characters in Armada.
Jansen's other notable roles include the recurring role of Doctor Heitz Werber in The X-Files (interestingly, his second DS9's character name is anagram of "Scully"), as well as playing one of few characters in 3rd Rock From the Sun to discover the Solomons' true identity. He also had a recurring role on Gilmore Girls.
