John Broome was an enlisted chief petty officer in Starfleet in the 24th century. Broome was a nurse.

Biography[]

In the year 2370, Broome transferred from Starbase Neil Armstrong in the Ordover system to Deep Space 9, where he joined Julian Bashir's medical team. (DS9 novel: Fallen Heroes)

Alternate timelines[]

In an alternate timeline, after working tirelessly to save as many lives as they can, Broone and the entire medical staff was murdered in the infirmary during the the Bekkir invasion of DS9. However, this future was negated by the efforts of Quark and Constable Odo. (DS9 novel: Fallen Heroes)
