John Keats

John Keats was a male human and noted poet of the 19th century.

Unknown at the time, Keats was inspired by an alien entity, Onaya, who fed on his neural energy and led him to a premature death. (DS9 episode: "The Muse")

Commodore B6 Blue, "Bishop", quoted Keats' Hyperion to Spock while trying to convince him to leave the USS Enterprise and join him at "The Yard" in 2268. (TOS short story: "Devices and Desires")

Data was inspired by Keats to write his poem, Ode to Spot. (TNG episode: "Schisms")

Sometime prior to 2368, Deanna Troi gave William T. Riker a copy of Keats' Ode to Psyche as a gift. (TNG episode: "Conundrum")
