John Harris Behan (October 23, 1844–June 7, 1912) was a Human law enforcement officer in the Arizona in the late 1800s. Behan was best known for being sheriff at the time of the Gunfight at the O. K. Corral, and the attempted prosecution of the men responsible for those deaths.

In 2268, Behan's identity was created to help in a bizarre, and rather in-accurate recreation of the shootout created by the Melkotians. (TOS episode: "Spectre of the Gun", TOS novelization: The Last Gunfight)
