Jonas Elley was a political candidate within the region of space called the Triangle during the 2270s.

In 2272, Elley lost the presidential election of the Mantiev Colonial Association (MCA). This defeat caused the Chaniview Alliance States to withdraw from the MCA and led to civil war. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update).
