Jord Gorfinkel was a Human Starfleet officer who served as science officer aboard the USS Republic in the early 2250s.

When Cadet-Lieutenant James T. Kirk and a group of cadets were assigned to the Republic in late 2251, Captain Rollin Bannock introduced Gorfinkel and the other senior staff to the cadets at a meeting. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Republic})
