Jouret IV was a planet, the fourth planet of the Jouret star system. Jouret IV was a Federation colony world that was settled some time before the mid-24th century. This world was the site of the New Providence colony that was destroyed by the Borg in 2366. Starfleet investigators discovered the entire colony had been lifted from the surface of the planet. Sometime prior to 2381, Jouret IV was recolonized by the Federation, only to be utterly destroyed by the Borg Invasion of 2381. ^{[citation needed]}
