Judy Klass is an author.

Klass pitched the story concept to the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine writers that Enabran Tain was Elim Garak's father. Her idea was later used as part of "In Purgatory's Shadow" and Klass received $1000 for her pitch. (ST reference: Voyages of Imagination)

She was 22 when she wrote TOS novel: The Cry of the Onlies, making her one of the youngest to write a Star Trek novel. (The Official Fan Club Magazine Issue 71: "Where No Man...: The Cry of the Onlies")

Outside of Star Trek, Klass has written numerous one-act and full-length plays. She also published the young adult novel Au Pair Girl.
