K'lny was a planet in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant, and the site of a mining colony in the 24th century. The USS da Vinci was assigned to a mission at K'lny in mid-2377, but was diverted from there by Captain Montgomery Scott to planet Ardana. (CoE eBook: Signs from Heaven)
