K't'kara class
The D7C-class (known in Klingonaase as the K't'kara-class, literally translated, Bringer of Destiny-class) was one of the early series of D7-class Klingon battle cruiser starships in use around the time of the 23rd century. This type of ship was one of the intermediate series between the original D-7 designs and the later K't'inga-class refits. (FASA RPG module: Klingon Ship Recognition Manual)
In particular, the D7C was a command battle cruiser. The D-7C vessels were commonly modified and refit to the specifications of the D7L-class K't'inga vessels. Vessels of this type were commonly named for poetic interpretations of killings, usually translating with the world "slayer". (ST video game: Starfleet Command)
One variation is the Fire Blossom, which was named for Kaden's spectacular killing of a rival attack cruiser with a carefully timed triggering of a solar eruption. (TOS - Worlds Apart novel: How Much For Just the Planet?)
