The Kargon Incident was an incident of Klingon aggression against the United Federation of Planets in 2277. Three Federation vessels and an outpost were destroyed.

This incident led Admiral James T. Kirk to believe the Organians were considering an end to enforcing the Organian Peace Treaty and that preparations for war might prove prudent.
