In the mirror universe novels Dark Passions and the Mirror Universe Trilogy, Kathryn Janeway was a female Terran working in the Terran Rebellion, in the 2370s. She kidnapped James T. Kirk and along with Spock (mirror) forced him to realize how his advice to Spock had backfired, and Kirk agreed to help the rebels (Spectre).
In Obsidian Alliances (a separate timeline from the other two stories listed) Janeway was actually working in the rebellion undercover for the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance By 2371, Janeway was serving as chief engineer aboard the Geronimo under Captain Chakotay. During her time aboard the Geronimo she was also Chakotay's lover. (VOY novel: The Mirror-Scaled Serpent)
