Kazon-Ogla

The Kazon-Ogla were one of the strongest sects of the Kazon Collective in the early 2370s, and were led by First Maje Jal Razik. The Ogla were also the first Kazon sect to be encountered by the USS Voyager in 2371.
In 2371, a group of Ogla, led by Maje Jal Jabin, had established a mining settlement on the planet Ocampa were they were mining cormaline deposits. When the USS Voyager threatened to destroy the Caretaker's Array, Jabin led a small task force against the starship to prevent them doing so. However, Voyager was able to hold them off and destroy the array. Jabin declared that Captain Kathryn Janeway had made an enemy of the Kazon. (VOY episode: "Caretaker")
