Kell Perim was an unjoined Trill woman in the 24th century. In the 2370s, Perim served as an officer in Starfleet.

Biography[]

Ensign Perim was assigned as flight controller aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-E in early 2375, and was at the conn when the ship engaged Son'a warships in the Briar Patch. (TNG movie: Star Trek: Insurrection)

First splinter timeline[]

Perim was at the conn when the Enterprise led an assault against space station Sentok Nor. (TNG novel: The Battle of Betazed)

By 2376, Perim had been promoted to lieutenant junior grade and by the following year served as the primary conn officer. (DS9 novel: Avatar, Book One; TOS - Vulcan's Soul novel: Epiphany)

She was one of few bridge officers on board Enterprise, while Enterprise and the USS Defiant tried to stop unmanned weapons drones from laying waste to the surface of Trill. (ST - Divided We Fall comic: "United We Stand")

She was at the conn when the Enterprise was forced to perform tricky maneuvers in their mission to the Rashanar Battle Site in 2378. (TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time to Be Born)

In 2379, Perim remote-piloted the IKS Taj over Tezwa which allowed the six tactical strike teams on the Taj to get close enough to transport into the atmosphere and parachute down to the surface before the Taj was destroyed. After this, since Riker, Data, and Vale were all on the mission, Perim took over as the Enterprise's acting first officer. (TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time to Kill)

Perim left Starfleet following the Enterprise's mission to Tezwa in 2379. She left along with Lieutenant Jim Peart, whom she was romantically involved with at the time. (TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time to Heal)

Alternate realities and timelines[]

In an alternate reality, Perim was likewise the flight controller of the USS Enterprise-E in 2380. (TNG novel: Q & A)

In an alternate timeline in which the Cardassian Union did not withdraw from Bajor in 2369, Perim was killed in 2373 when the Enterprise-E was destroyed in the Bajor system by a Dominion ship commanded by Omet'iklan. (TNG - Myriad Universes novel: A Gutted World)
