Kelon Keros was a Ruddy Orion man who lived in the late 23rd century in the Orion Colony of Daros IV.

Kelon was born on Daros IV as a member of a cadet branch of the Keros Family, one of the ruling Five Families of Daros IV. Despite his lesser status, he rose to become their chief trade representative at Daroskelar Starport and stayed in that role for over 10 years by virtue of his ability and success. In that time, he negotiated several highly profitable deals for the Keros Family, including a concession for Eldor fruit from the Klethor system.

After a number of financial setbacks weakened the Keros Family, such as an outbreak of Eldor Fruit Rust, Kelon was concerned and determined to bring new fortune to his clan. The arrival of TransSolar's Eridani Star with a cargo hold full of electronics goods to sell and hopes of a negotiating a trade agreement proved to be a welcome boon for Kelon and the Keros Family.

Kelon was jovial and outgoing and had a reputation as a shrewd trader who always worked to benefit his Family. He was also a heavy drinker, but was less affected by alcohol than he let on, preferring to be underestimated by those he dealt with.

In reference stardate 2/1412 (circa 2273), Kelon was aged 50, had a height of 5'10" and weighed over 220 pounds. He was a typical Ruddy Orion in appearance, though his skin coloration was similar to that of a Human. (FASA RPG module: Orion Ruse)
