Kelvans were a highly intelligent non-humanoid species, native to the planet Kelva in the Andromeda Galaxy. They ruled the Kelvan Empire with an iron fist. Only a small number are known to have reached the Milky Way Galaxy. The stock Kelvan form had over a hundred tentacles, but any Kelvan soldier worth his pay grade would have lost at least ten of them in normal combat.
