Khan Noonien Singh (mirror)

For the regular universe counterpart, see Khan Noonien Singh.

In the mirror universe, Khan Noonien Singh (born 1970) was a notorious Terran Augment who was driven to improve the Terran race through genetic augmentation. His experiments were banned by the government, although in the 24th century Vash speculated as to whether or not the Terrans would have been conquered by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance had they allowed the genetic experiments. (TNG novel: The Worst of Both Worlds)

Khan's family line was considered "noble," and members of the Singh line were considered "born rulers" by some. His lineage continued into at least the 23rd century. In 2288, Ivan West suggested restoring the Singh line by placing Khan's descendant, Ranjit Singh, on the Imperial throne after assassinating the reform minded Emperor Spock. This idea was quickly shot down by West's co-conspirators, who considered Ranjit Singh to be a meglomaniac. (TOS novel: The Sorrows of Empire)

Although not explicitly stated by West, it seems likely that Khan was at one time the ruler of Earth.
It is possible that the ISS Khan's Wrath was named for him in the 22nd century.
